We are currently looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join our Kitchen team at Rosewood London. The Junior Sous Chef reports directly to the Senior Sous Chef and supports the Sous Chefs in all culinary areas of Holborn Dining Room.

Key expectations of this role:

  • Observing methods of food preparation and cooking, sizes of portions, and garnishing of foods to ensure food is prepared in prescribed manner.
  • Maximising the effectiveness of associates by developing each of their skills and abilities through the appropriate training, coaching and mentoring.
  • Consistently maintains established standards across the department through leading by example and quality control.

  • The ability to support and develop others effectively.
  • Proven culinary skills in an upscale and high volume restaurant environment.
  • The ability to build strong relationships with the floor team of Holborn Dining Room.
