As Pastry Sous Chef, you will play a key leadership role within our Pastry and Bakery team, supporting the Executive Pastry Chef in delivering exceptional pastry experiences across the hotel.
Combining technical expertise with inspiring leadership, you will uphold the highest standards of quality, consistency, and creativity while developing and motivating those around you.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Executive Pastry Chef in the day-to-day management of the Pastry and Bakery kitchen, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Lead, coach, and develop the pastry team, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Ensure all pastry, bakery, and dessert products are prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality, consistency, and creativity.
- Assist with menu development, tastings, and seasonal concepts, contributing innovative ideas that enhance the guest experience.
- Monitor stock levels, ordering requirements, and food costs to ensure efficient management of resources.
- Maintain accurate recipes, technical sheets, allergen information, and costing documentation.
- Ensure all food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and Health & Safety standards are consistently met and upheld.
- Lead by example during service, supporting the team across multiple outlets and adapting to changing business demands.
- Promote Rosewood Impacts and support sustainable practices throughout the pastry operation.
- Collaborate closely with the wider culinary team to deliver memorable dining experiences across all hotel venues.
