The Chancery Rosewood – opening in Summer 2025, a Rosewood Hotel Group property, is housed in the iconic former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square, reimagined by British architect Sir David Chipperfield. It will include 144 spacious suites designed by Joseph Dirand, including a variety of dining and entertainment spaces: providing a stage for progressive ideas, voices and expression.

We are looking for a Impact & Sustainability Manager. You will be shaping the transformation of Rosewood Hotel Group into a purpose-led company that is committed to creating a future where people and place enrich one another. The role plays a crucial role in translating global ambition into action, adapting our global roadmap to create bespoke strategies for The Chancery Rosewood, and devising actions that help create a distinctive brand while delivering positive impact on people and place.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the Social Impact and Sustainability strategy of the Hotel.
  • Serving as Social Impact and Sustainability advisor to the Managing Director and Executive Committee and supporting the regional Social Impact Lead by engaging external advisors to regularly review Rosewood Hotel Group\’s impact programs.
  • Derive KPIs and regularly measure the Social Impact of programs.
  • Represent the Managing Director to ensure all Department Heads\’ action plans are cascaded into SMART goals, and are approved and implemented.
  • Collect and consolidate information across departments to assist with reporting requirements and internal / external communication opportunities.
  • Inspire, engage and communicate Vision and Strategy internally – through various meetings and different employment engagement channels.
  • Based on overall strategy, work with internal stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Talent & Culture, Brand) and external advisors to come up and monitor action plans.
  • Drive planning across various departments to ensure hotel goals are aligned with group goals and ambitions. Coordinate implementation of roadmap through cascading goals into actions and milestones, filling awareness gaps, and engineering collaborations.
  • Spearhead the associate volunteering efforts; i.e. seeking out volunteering efforts and promoting to potential volunteers.
  • Drive stakeholders\’ buy-in through awareness and education to develop internal ownership of projects and mobilise action.
  • Analyse key metrics related to Social Impact & Sustainability commitments and provide actionable recommendations to key stakeholders on property.
  • Sign up partner organisations, individuals and events for collaboration on Social Impact relating to all areas, including Engineering, Rooms, Talent & Culture, Culinary and Food & Beverage.
  • Drive planning across various departments to support the development of programs that help empower internal and external communities.
  • Explore opportunities to work with local and global organisations and individuals in the field of Sustainability.
  • Devise fun and interactive ways to inform our guests and associates of the importance of working sustainability within our environment, and the simple yet effective measures that everyone can take to assist in these efforts.
  • Support each property in identifying and communicating stories.

About You

  • A proven sustainability leader, ideally with experience in hospitality, luxury brands, or lifestyle sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, ESG frameworks, and responsible business practices.
  • Inspirational communicator with the ability to engage teams, guests, and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a pragmatic approach to implementation and reporting.
  • Passionate about impact, but commercially minded – you understand how responsible business drives brand loyalty and bottom line.
  • Degree-qualified in sustainability, environmental science, business ethics or similar.
