As Pastry Commis Chef, you will be a cornerstone of culinary excellence within our kitchen — combining technical mastery with the mentorship and presence to raise those around you. Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation, production, and presentation of high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
- Support the Pastry Chef de Partie and wider pastry team in daily operations.
- Ensure all mise en place is prepared according to required standards and in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pastry kitchen in line with hygiene and safety standards.
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the culinary leadership team.
- Contribute to maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency, and innovation.
- Assist with stock rotation and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety, Food Safety, and HACCP procedures.
