Waiters are a critical part of the food & beverage experience at The Chancery Rosewood. Based in the Eagle Bar, our waiters deliver an exceptional dining experience and personalised service to our guests, reflecting Rosewood Hotels and Resorts’ culture and purpose and its commitment to excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a warm and professional service to guests, ensuring an optimal dining experience in line with prescribed standards.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests and dietary requirements are noted.
- Delivering, presenting and explaining food and beverage offerings in line with prescribed standards.
- Anticipate guest needs and offer menu recommendations and wine pairings.
- Ensure tables are properly set, maintained, and cleared in a timely manner.
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth order flow and timely service.
- Assist in table setup, side duties, and daily service preparations.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally and discreetly, escalating when necessary.
- Maintain a deep knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and preparation methods.
- Experience in a high-end bar, luxury hotel, or fine-dining environment.
- A deep knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and bar techniques.
- A natural host, with the ability to create an engaging guest experience.
