As a Host, you will be the first and last impression of our dining experience: the warm welcome that sets the tone for an unforgettable visit and the gracious farewell that leaves a lasting memory.
This role is about far more than managing reservations and seating guests.
It is about delivering Relationship Hospitality by creating meaningful connections, anticipating guest needs, and ensuring every individual feels recognised, valued, and genuinely cared for from the moment they arrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome every guest with warmth, confidence, and genuine care, creating a memorable first impression and setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience.
- Manage reservations and table allocations with precision, ensuring a seamless guest journey while balancing operational flow and guest satisfaction.
- Build meaningful relationships with guests by recognising returning visitors, remembering preferences, and ensuring each guest feels valued and personally welcomed.
- Work closely with restaurant and kitchen teams to coordinate guest arrivals, table readiness, and service requirements, ensuring a smooth and well‑organised operation throughout service.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond proactively to enquiries, special requests, celebrations, accessibility requirements, and dietary considerations, ensuring personalised and attentive service at every stage of the experience.
- Maintain a welcoming and elegant reception area, ensuring guests are always acknowledged, comfortable, and informed throughout their visit.
- Handle wait times, reservation changes, walk‑ins, and guest concerns with professionalism, empathy, and composure, always seeking positive solutions that protect the guest experience.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of our dining experiences, menus, events, and hotel offerings, confidently sharing information to enhance the guest experience and encourage future visits.
