Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Programmer to oversee, coordinate and manage our programmes delivered from our base at the Rosetta Arts Studios in West Ham, and from satellite spaces in East London. This includes our new Saturday programme 'Everyone is an Artist', income generating art classes, workshops, masterclasses, and free drop-in community activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Continue to manage and further develop our 'Everyone is an Artist' programme on Saturdays
- Continue to manage and further develop our creative classes and courses programme
- Scope, develop and manage new programmes, including commercial and corporate activities
- Manage the Rosetta Family group, comprising past participants, tutors, staff, etc.
- Continue to build our pool of relevant artists, technicians and manage all aspects of contracting, planning, budgeting, delivery and evaluation of the activities they will deliver
- Support the Artist Studio Manager with responding to enquiries and all admin around the artist studios, memberships and events
Person Specification
Essential
- Experience of working as an arts project manager or creative programmer
- Proven track record of successful project planning, project management and evaluation skills with a range of planning and project management tools
- Experience of setting and managing project budgets, and invoicing
- Experience of working with a wide range of service users, across age, gender, disability, ethnicity and social background
- Good knowledge of the community and creative landscape within Newham and/or East London
