What you can expect:
As a Mechatronics Technician, you will maintain, overhaul, modify, and test high-tech inspection equipment in accordance with specified quality standards. You will assess the condition of inspection systems and perform modifications and/or repairs when necessary. Furthermore, you will assemble, test, and calibrate inspection equipment prior to release and commissioning. Due to the wide variety of inspection tools and systems, no two days are the same. This diverse position requires both your technical expertise and analytical skills.
What you will bring:
- At least 5 years of workshop experience, although recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Background in mechanical engineering, machine building, mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Troubleshooting skills - determine causes of operating errors and make sound decisions about next actions - ability to solve problems and look for improvements.
- Mechanical aptitude - strong knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, uses, and maintenance.
- Experience with SAP is an advantage but not required.
- Good communication skills both written and spoken.
- Ability to work flexible hours when required.
- Willingness to travel on short business trips/training overseas within short notice.
