What you can expect
To enhance our team, we are looking for a Technical Data Analyst UTCD-Technology (all genders welcome). The high-tech devices from ROSEN are used worldwide for in-line inspections (ILI) of large oil and gas pipes. These “pigs” traverse the pipelines and record large amounts of data that can be used to detect damage (e.g. cracks, corrosion, dents) in the pipe wall. In a one-year training-on-the-job you learn the skills of the technical data analyst within the ROSEN group and bring them into our Evaluation Office department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Computer-based visual evaluation of large amounts of data recorded by our high-tech inspection devices
- Detection of irregularities in the data through signal pattern interpretation to determine defects in the piping systems
- Preparation of the final technical reports
- Function as an interface between the worldwide operating locations of ROSEN and the location in Lingen
What you will bring

- Interest in technology or measuring systems – proven technical / scientific background through training or studies (e.g. Geoscientist, Geomatician, Geologist, Materials Tester,Laboratory Technician)

- Very strong sense of responsibility and problem-solving thinking – recognizing possible errors in the workflow and making reasoned decisions – ability to solve problems and develop improvements
- Very good knowledge of the MicrosoftOffice package, especially Excel, and in dealing with PCs and folder structures, as well as the ability to familiarize yourself quickly with unknown software
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and tight deadlines
- Good language skills in English (spoken and written)
- Experiences in ILI data evaluation and in the use of ultrasonic methodsare desirable
