Join our Field Operations team as a Project Coordinator Inline Inspection (Pigging), where you'll be at the forefront of executing and coordinating cutting-edge inline inspection activities. Based in our Newcastle business unit, you'll play a vital role in ensuring project success by guiding multidisciplinary teams, engaging with clients, and keeping operations on track—all while navigating the challenges of offshore environments.
Responsibilities
- Ensure thorough and accurate preparation for all scheduled inspections, including technical and logistical planning.
- Identify potential project risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers on all operational matters.
- Lead and motivate the field team to achieve operational excellence.
- Monitor and report on project milestones, timelines, and budgets.
- Prepare, review, and ensure compliance with technical and HSE documentation (e.g., Method Statements, Job Safety Analysis).
- Facilitate Lessons Learned sessions to drive continuous improvement across projects.
- Organize and lead project meetings, ensuring all relevant documentation is current.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and manage subcontractor performance.
- Oversee project financials, including stand-by charges, penalties, and upselling opportunities.
What you will bring
- A technical background, ideally in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Proven project management experience; certifications like PMP, PRINCE2, or IPMA are a strong advantage.
- At least three years of experience in a similar role - preferably within the oil and gas industry or a technical services environment.
- A hands-on, proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse stakeholders.
- Clear and effective communicator with strong negotiation skills.
- Comfortable working independently and focused on delivering results under pressure.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with standard MS Office tools.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
