What you can expect:

Due to our continued growth, our UK office in Newcastle upon Tyne is looking to add to our team of multi-skilled NDT technicians. The role involves supporting and expanding the delivery of field verification projects for our UK and international clients, primarily in the pipeline industry. Successful candidates will travel nationally and internationally to perform various Non-Destructive Tests on client assets, participate in analysis both desk-based and laboratory-based, and collaborate with engineers from other disciplines to provide comprehensive service. What you will bring:

  • Essential:
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
  • Qualified to at least PCN Level II in MT, UT 3.1, 3.2, or equivalent
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work closely with internal and external clients
  • Interest in developing knowledge of pipeline integrity and verification inspections
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic IT systems
  • Desire to grow and contribute to quality work delivery
  • Desirable:
    • Knowledge of vintage pipe and plate manufacturing techniques
    • Familiarity with pipeline and defect inspection standards and codes
    • Additional qualifications such as P11, API 570, abrasive wheels, confined spaces, EUSR gas safety
