As one of the leaders in the energy transition space, our Integrity Management Office in Newcastle Upon Tyne is currently recruiting for a Cathodic Protection (CP) Technician to join us and help deliver a wide variety of commercial and R&D projects. The role will include the delivery of CP, coating, and environmental services, providing a key role in the development of ROSEN’s wider global service offerings and including bespoke survey techniques and integrity solutions.
What you will bring:
- Minimum of 5 year’s relevant industry experience, including a minimum of 3 year’s field experience
- NACE / AMPP / Icorr (or equivalent other) certification in cathodic protection aspects
- Ability to work closely and effectively with both internal and external clients
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to develop knowledge in all aspects of pipeline integrity and field verification inspections and surveys
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office and basic IT systems / software
- Desire to grow and develop a business through delivery of quality work
- Experience in AC / DC Stray current interference issues
- Ability to perform in field CP and coating evaluation surveys, such as CIPS / DCVG / ACVG etc.
- Knowledge of relevant UK and International codes, standards and best practices relating to cathodic protection
- Qualified to minimum NACE / AMPP CP2 or Icorr CP Lvl 2
- Experience in reviewing customer requirements and developing appropriate procedures
