Rosemount Pre School Nursery is a privately owned setting in Muswell Hill, London N10. Established since 1996, we offer part time and full time care and education to children aged 2-5 years (currently rated Good by Ofsted). Open for 50 weeks of the year. We are currently recruiting a full time Level 3 childcare qualified early years practitioner for immediate start to join our friendly and energetic team.
The role consists of being a key person for a small group of children, carrying out observations, and planning for next steps, along with the day to day general care of the children. Responsibilities include teaching planned small group sessions, and record keeping of key child developmental files. The successful candidate must be committed with a strong desire to help the children achieve their full potential. Ongoing training in all early years matters is given, as we encourage and assist in continuous professional development.
Person Specification:
- Essential:
- Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (e.g. NVQ Level 3, CACHE Level 3, or equivalent).
- Experience in an early years setting.
- Excellent time management.
- Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework and early childhood development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Commitment to maintaining a positive, child-centred environment.
- Clear understanding of safeguarding, health and safety requirements.
- First Aid Certificate
- Safeguarding (Level 1 & 2)
- Food Hygiene Certificate.
