The predicted salary is between 35000 - 45000 £ per year.
This is a hybrid role where the successful candidate will be required to work from our Leeds office at least twice a week.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the preparation, coordination and reporting of the annual budget and Long-Range Planning (LRP) processes.
- Support in the preparation and reporting of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy, consistency and timeliness.
- Deliver variance analysis with clear commentary, highlighting key drivers of business performance and supporting informed decision making.
- Support monthly KPI reviews with stakeholders across the business.
- Maintain, enhance and continuously improve financial models and planning tools to meet evolving business needs and respond to RFIs in a timely manner.
- Partner with stakeholders across functions to provide financial insight and support strategic and operational decisions.
- Respond to ad‑hoc financial queries from the wider business.
- Ensure consistency and integrity of reporting through the use of financial reporting tools.
- Update Power BI reports for the finance team and wider business, improving visibility and accessibility of financial information.
About You
- Part‑qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA).
- Previous experience in management accounting or FP&A.
- Confident in variance analysis and translating numbers into clear, meaningful insights.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Experience using Power BI or similar reporting and visualisation tools.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge constructively.
- Proactive, organised and comfortable handling multiple priorities and ad‑hoc requests.
- A continuous improvement mindset with attention to detail and strong analytical capability.
