Main duties of the job To provide general medical services at Rosemead Surgery, providing services for registered patients.
To provide high quality primary care services to the practice population as required by the Group in line with approved protocols and evidence based medical practice and guidelines.
To manage a caseload of named doctor patients, dealing with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, always ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.

Job responsibilities Clinical Duties Appointments, visits, dealing with queries from patients or other health care professionals.
Home
Visits: (if appropriate and agreed): These are shared amongst the GP team or the Specialist Practitioner present on the day, if patient appropriate and depending on workload.
Remote
Consultations: Some of your clinics may be required to be taken via remote consultation using the approved technology.
Where operational standards are met for home working, remote clinics can be carried out at your place of residence or some other agreed place outside of the Practice as agreed with the Managing Partner.
Flu/ COVID clinics- contributing to the running of these seasonal clinics when required.
Administration/Paperwork: Arising both directly from own and Practice caseload (referrals, investigations, results).
The Salaried GP is responsible for their own patient associated referrals, correspondence, administration and paperwork.
They will be expected to take a share of practice general incoming clinical correspondence (scanned documents), repeat prescriptions, results and patient associated tasks (patient enquiries and phone calls).
In addition, when located at Rosemead Surgery the signing of acute FP10 scripts for the purposes of dispensing will be required.
