1 salaried GP position: 4-6 sessions per week flexible; ideally Monday - Wednesday. List size 7500 patients approx. Diverse population.
Main duties of the job
- To provide general medical services at Rosemead Surgery, providing services for registered patients.
- To provide high quality primary care services to the practice population as required by the Group in line with approved protocols and evidence based medical practice and guidelines.
- To manage a caseload of named doctor patients, dealing with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, always ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
- To undertake all duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.
Good work-life balance with supportive partners and regular practice meetings. No OOH or weekends. CQC rated Good. On site car parking available. Consistently high QOF achievement.
We are offering BMA model contract, NHS Pension, 6 weeks holiday plus CPD. Good access to free local education programmes - protected learning time (EPIC). Salary per session depending on experience.

Job responsibilities
- Clinical Duties: Appointments, visits, dealing with queries from patients or other health care professionals.
- Home Visits: These are shared amongst the GP team or the Specialist Practitioner present on the day, if patient appropriate and depending on workload.
- Remote Consultations: Some of your clinics may be required to be taken via remote consultation using the approved technology.
- Flu/ COVID clinics: Contributing to the running of these seasonal clinics when required.
- Administration/Paperwork: The Salaried GP is responsible for their own patient associated referrals, correspondence, administration and paperwork.
- QoF & Clinical Readcoding: Ensuring accurate clinical readcoding, using templates where available, to assist with Practice contractual compliance and monitoring.
- Team Meetings: The Salaried GP will be expected to attend relevant Practice meetings, essential to the delivery of team based care.
- Private reports/medical: The Salaried GP will be expected to carry out a share of non-NHS (Private) work.
- Audits: All staff are expected to instigate and partake in the audit process.
