Roselands Resourcing are proud to be partnering with a financial services company based in London (W1F) who are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist.

Talent Acquisition Specialist Duties

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand immediate and future hiring needs, ensuring a strong grasp of role requirements and team objectives.
  • Develop, deliver, and refine effective talent attraction strategies using job boards, social media, networking, and direct sourcing.
  • Manage the full end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection, while ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
  • Proactively source and engage high‐calibre candidates through headhunting, market mapping, and talent pipelining to support workforce planning.
  • Provide advice and guidance to hiring managers on recruitment best practice, assessment methods, interview techniques, and employer branding.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider People team to ensure alignment between recruitment activity and broader HR initiatives.
  • Track recruitment metrics and KPIs, analyse trends, and provide insights to refine processes and improve outcomes.
  • Keep up to date with recruitment legislation, industry trends, and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records and documentation in line with reporting and audit requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external suppliers including agencies and search firms to support hiring needs efficiently.

Experience Required

  • Demonstrable experience managing full lifecycle recruitment, with strong capability in direct sourcing, headhunting, and market mapping - ideally within financial services or professional services.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‐paced, high‐performing environment with adaptability and resilience.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing and supporting hiring managers to achieve positive outcomes.
  • A strong track record of delivering an engaging, high‐touch candidate experience that aligns with organisational values.
  • Experience integrating DE&I principles into sourcing and hiring processes, with the confidence to champion inclusive hiring practices.
  • Comfortable using recruitment data and analytics to monitor performance, manage pipelines, and support decision‐making.
  • Experience contributing to process improvements or recruitment projects designed to enhance efficiency and capability.
  • Good understanding of recruitment technology including ATS platforms, assessment tools, AI sourcing solutions, and social media techniques.
  • Experience managing external recruitment partners and ensuring accountability against KPIs and SLAs.
  • Strong problem‐solving skills with the ability to handle challenges and escalations professionally.
  • Confident working with data and presenting insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Understanding of financial services industry regulations and how they relate to recruitment processes.
  • A proactive, forward‐thinking mindset with the ability to anticipate hiring needs.
