Roseland Furniture Outlet – East Midlands is looking for a reliable, proactive and energetic individual to support the daily operation of our growing furniture outlet. This is not a standard retail role. The position involves a mixture of customer interaction, stock handling, merchandising, warehouse support and maintaining high presentation standards throughout the outlet.
We are looking for somebody who:
- Has a strong work ethic and good attitude
- Is physically capable and comfortable handling furniture
- Takes pride in standards and attention to detail
- Can work proactively without constant supervision
- Is comfortable speaking with customers
- Is reliable and punctual
- Is flexible and willing to support different areas of the operation
Typical duties include:
- Assisting customers on the shop floor
- Moving and positioning furniture safely
- Supporting deliveries and collections
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards
- Assisting with stock organisation and pricing
- Helping prepare displays and promotional areas
- General outlet and warehouse support duties
Experience in furniture retail is not essential. Attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are more important.
