Location: Southwell, Nottinghamshire

Pay: £13.40 per hour

Part‑time – 15 hour contract

Working days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday + alternate weekends

Shift times: Between 10:00am – 3:00pm – 3–6 hour shifts

We are looking for a kind, reliable female to support an independent elderly lady living in her own home in Southwell. This is a 1:1 support role helping our client maintain her independence and enjoy daily life both at home and in the community.

Our client lives with Type 2 respiratory failure and requires support with daily living tasks, companionship and assistance with her Nippy respiratory mask. She has a good sense of humour and enjoys spending time with friendly, relaxed people. She enjoys arts and crafts, trips to the theatre, socialising with friends and having access to the community. Social interaction is very important, so we are looking for someone who enjoys conversation and companionship as well as providing practical support.

You will be supporting with preparing meals and drinks, household tasks, mobility support, assistance with respiratory equipment (Nippy mask), community outings and activities.

If you are kind, patient, reliable, friendly and easy to talk to and can work independently using your initiative while supporting someone in their own home, this could be the perfect role for you. Flexibility to cover holiday and sickness is essential. Previous care experience is helpful but not essential if you have the right attitude.

Essential Requirements:

  • Training can be provided if required.
  • DBS check may be required.
  • Driving licence preferred.
