Personal Assistant – Banbury (Oxfordshire) – TPTDS20261103

This position is supporting a young gentleman in the Banbury area of Oxfordshire. We are seeking a Personal Assistant to join his care team.

Our client is a young adult with a great sense of humour and a passion for gaming. He enjoys spending time on Xbox and playing Dungeons & Dragons, sharing that “when you’re gaming, you’re free of your limitations.” Away from the screen, he loves outdoor adventures such as sit-skiing and zip wiring, and he’s currently studying Games Development and Coding at college with plans to go to university and pursue a career in the computer industry.

Living with cerebral palsy presents challenges, but his determination, positivity, and perseverance mean he never lets it define him. He lives in a beautiful, fully adapted home designed for his needs. The team has access to a well-equipped room and an automatic vehicle for use during shifts.

As a Personal Assistant, you’ll be part of a dedicated team delivering truly personalised care – breaking down barriers, promoting independence, and supporting our client to thrive. The support is 24/7 with a double up when they are away on trips or if they’re unwell. The nights are sleeping nights unless he is unwell which means shifts can be arranged back to back.

This job will suit somebody with a positive attitude towards inclusion. You will need to be of a suitable height, build and physically fit able to carry out his therapy program and be confident using assistive technology (with training).
