An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and dedicated team at Rosehill Vets, a well-established small animal practice in the heart of Plymouth. At Rosehill, our focus is on clinical excellence and outstanding client care. You’ll enjoy a varied caseload, with an equal mix of consultations and surgery, and we encourage continuity of care from initial consult to surgical follow-up to achieve the best outcomes for our patients and their owners.
We pride ourselves on offering flexible working arrangements with a strong emphasis on work-life balance. Practice opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am–7:00pm, and Saturdays 9:00am–2:00pm. This position is for 20 hours per week, with Saturday work shared on a 1 in 4 rota. Importantly, there are no out-of-hours, allowing for a great work/life balance. You’ll be supported by an experienced and welcoming team, including 5 RVNs, 2 ANAs, a Student Veterinary Nurse, and an efficient reception team. Rosehill Vets is proudly RCVS Practice Standards accredited (Small Animal General Practice).
Rosehill Vets is a longstanding and trusted practice with a loyal client base. Full refurbishment creating a bright, modern, well-equipped clinical environment. Facilities include dedicated theatre and large prep room with two tables, digital X-ray, ultrasound, and a separate dental suite. Up-to-date dental X-ray with a new CR7 processor and ongoing investment in equipment and best practices.
We are looking to recruit a friendly, qualified Veterinary Surgeon, preferably with recent experience in a small animal practice. Most importantly, someone who is confident in managing medicine cases and competent in managing a busy daily surgical load.
