What you'll be doing:
  • Supervising children within the nursery environment, including mealtimes, rest periods and nappy changing/toileting
  • Creating fun and engaging activities to suit the needs of the children
  • Promote good hygiene practices
  • Building solid, caring relationships with parents/carers, families, professionals and your team
  • Keeping accurate records and communicating with parents/carers
  • Supporting your team members and being a positive role model, who looks to develop and suggest positive changes
  • Leading the room in the absence of the room leader
  • Attend staff meetings or any training courses that will help enhance your personal and professional development
  • Monitor and record all accidents
  • Adhering to and implement all nursery procedures and policies
What we're looking for:
  • Full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Good knowledge of safeguarding responsibilities
  • A genuine passion for supporting young children's development
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Interest in outdoor learning and child-led learning approaches
  • Confidence building relationships with families and professionals
Working Hours:

Part time and full time positions available Monday to Friday.
