We run 11 nurseries across the North of England and are committed to providing high-quality, nurturing environments for children to develop confidence, curiosity and kindness. We are looking to recruit a trustworthy and passionate person to join our nursery team. Responsibilities
- Supervise children within the nursery environment, including mealtimes, rest periods and nappy changing/toileting.
- Create fun and engaging activities that suit the needs of the children.
- Promote good hygiene practices.
- Build solid, caring relationships with parents/carers, families, professionals, and your team.
- Keep accurate records and communicate with parents/carers.
- Support your team members and be a positive role model, looking to develop and suggest positive changes.
- Lead the room in the absence of the room leader.
- Attend staff meetings or training courses that will help enhance your personal and professional development.
- Monitor and record all accidents.
- Adhere to and implement all nursery procedures and policies.
Qualifications
- Hold a full and relevant Level 2/3 Early Years Qualification.
- Have a good knowledge and understanding of safeguarding duties, nursery procedures and policies.
- Have good knowledge of birth to 5 development and the EYFS curriculum.
- Excellent practice within an early years setting.
- Have excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Demonstrate up-to-date knowledge in Early Years and a full understanding of children's emotional, physical, psychological and educational developmental needs.
- Have a positive attitude and an unwavering commitment to service excellence to maintain high standards.
- Be able to work as a team.
- Have a professional attitude and manner.
