We are looking to appoint a high-performing Chemistry teacher who can inspire students through to A-level, committed to fostering a culture of curiosity, critical thinking, and academic achievement.
The Chemistry department forms an integral part of the wider Science team at Rosebery and is proud of its long-standing reputation for excellence. Our Science colleagues deliver both Combined and Triple Science at GCSE, and Chemistry remains one of the most popular KS5 subjects, with approximately 40 students opting to study it at A-level each year. The department consistently secures remarkable outcomes at both GCSE and A-level. In 2025, 45% of A-level students achieved A or A*, reflecting the high standards, strong subject expertise, and commitment to student success that define the team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to join a highly successful department and make a meaningful contribution to students' academic growth and personal development.
