Your opportunity:
We are looking to recruit a motivated Cover Supervisor to join our small, dedicated Cover team. You will support students’ learning in the absence of their class teacher by delivering set work, maintaining a positive learning environment, and leading a range of activities as required. The successful candidate will ensure students remain engaged, follow the provided lesson plans, and uphold high standards of behaviour. You may also be the primary Cover Supervisor for practical sessions in relevant subjects and provide additional support to departments across the school with activities, duties, and other tasks as directed by the Senior Leadership Team. This role is particularly well-suited to individuals interested in gaining experience within a school setting, especially those considering a future in teaching. GLF offers a dedicated Teacher Training programme through Inspiring Future Teachers, making this position a valuable stepping stone for anyone looking to pursue a career in education.
