We are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant to join our hardworking and collaborative SEND team, to support the learning and development of all of our students. If you have a passion for working with young people, with a focus on students' learning, their social and emotional development and are looking to work within a supportive and professional team, we would love to hear from you.
Your opportunity:
- As a key member of the Rosebery SEND team and working closely with Teaching colleagues, our Teaching Assistants provide high-quality and timely support to students, supporting their learning and development, in areas such as independent learning, social and emotional wellbeing and metacognitive skills including planning, problem solving and reviewing.
- The successful candidate will maintain a presence in lessons and SEND support areas, ensuring students have access to uncluttered, well-organised learning environments and have the resources necessary to access their learning as independently as possible.
- Our Teaching Assistants also assist with supporting student educational visits, break and lunchtime supervision and deliver therapy and/or care programmes designed by external agencies.

- Someone with experience of working with young people, ideally with those with SEN.
- An empathetic communicator who is able to develop positive relationships with students and adults.
- An ability to scaffold students' learning.
- Commitment to the process of learning.
- A positive role model who is able to stay calm and objective.
- A team player who genuinely believes every child can succeed.

The Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Salary: GLF Associate 2.1 £23,914 Actual Salary: £17,858.57
- Hours: 31.25 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.15am - 3pm (Term time only - 39 weeks)
