Lowgate Care Home is situated in the beautiful countryside just two miles outside the historic Northumbrian town of Hexham. It is a purpose-built home with beautiful gardens for you to enjoy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To be responsible for the safe administration and recording of all medication prescribed by the resident’s medical practitioner.
  • To lead the care team and ensure all residents are cared for to the highest possible standard.
  • Providing round-the-clock care for residents, including monitoring their mobility, food and fluid intake, and level of dependency.
  • Developing and implementing care plans for residents, and reviewing them on a monthly basis.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Assist and guide the care teams to provide a safe, caring, stimulating and homely environment for both residents and their relatives.
  • Have an active NMC PIN with prior nursing experience.
  • Be an excellent communicator and have the ability to work well with others.
