Your Role
As a Regional Floor Layer, you will play a key role in ensuring our homes remain safe, clean, and visually appealing. From fitting new floors and repairing existing surfaces to ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, your craftsmanship will directly contribute to creating homely, secure environments where residents can thrive.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Installing a variety of flooring types, including vinyl, laminate, carpet, and safety flooring, to a high professional standard.
- Conducting floor inspections, repairs, and replacements as needed to maintain safety and functionality.
- Preparing subfloors and ensuring surfaces meet health, hygiene, and safety standards.
- Working closely with care home managers to schedule and prioritise flooring works with minimal disruption to residents.
- Assisting with risk assessments and maintaining documentation for compliance purposes.
- Supporting external contractors on site and ensuring work meets Roseberry Care standards.
- Travelling regularly across the assigned region with flexibility to support different care homes as needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Recognised flooring qualification or proven experience in floor laying (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).

- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly within the region.
