Your Role:
As a Care Home Assistant Practitioner with Roseberry Care, you’ll play a vital role in our care team, bridging the gap between healthcare assistants and registered nurses, providing enhanced care responsibilities while still working under the supervision of a nurse or manager.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Supporting nurses with clinical tasks such as wound care, observations, medication rounds, and care plan reviews
- Providing mentorship and guidance to care staff, ensuring high standards of care
- Liaising with GPs, healthcare professionals, and families
- Ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and in line with best practice
- Acting as a role model for quality, safety, and compassion in care delivery
What We’re Looking For:
- Must hold a Care Home Assistant Practitioner Certificate (essential)
- Experience as a Senior Carer or similar role in a care home environment
- Confident with medication administration and clinical observations
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or higher)
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- A genuine passion for elderly care and team development
