Your Role: As a Senior Care Assistant you will provide both hands-on support to residents and leadership to junior care staff within our local care home. Providing direct caregiving with supervisory responsibilities, you will ensure that our high standards of person-centred care are consistently delivered. You’ll be responsible for:
- Assisting residents with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, etc.)
- Promote dignity, independence, and individual rights of residents
- Supervise and support junior care staff and new team members
- Monitoring residents’ conditions and report any changes to senior management or nursing staff
- Communicate effectively with residents, ensuring they feel listened to and respected
