Your Role:

As a Domestic Assistant in our care home, you’ll be more than just a cleaner—you’ll be part of a team that helps create a safe, comfortable, and dignified environment for our residents. Your work will help ensure that every room feels like home and that residents can relax in a clean, cared-for space. It’s a rewarding role where your attention to detail and pride in cleanliness directly improves the quality of life for the people we support.

You’ll be responsible for:

· Clean resident bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas (lounges, dining rooms, hallways)

· Follow infection prevention and control procedures in line with care home policies

· Dispose of waste safely and in accordance with health regulations

· Restock cleaning supplies and inform management of low inventory

· Reporting any maintenance issues or safety concerns

· Working respectfully and sensitively around residents, staff, and visitors

· Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role (preferably in a care or healthcare setting)

· Understanding of cleanliness standards in a residential care environment

· Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed
