Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting, etc.).
- Promote dignity, independence, and individual rights of residents.
- Supervise and support junior care staff and new team members.
- Monitor residents’ conditions and report any changes to senior management or nursing staff.
- Communicate effectively with residents, ensuring they feel listened to and respected.
- Ensure the care environment is clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Senior Carer or similar role in a care home environment.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health.
