Your Role:
As a Housekeeper you will be a vital member of the team and responsible for creating a clean, safe, and homely environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. With a person-centred approach, you will help maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home—contributing to the comfort, wellbeing, and dignity of everyone we support.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Clean resident bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas (lounges, dining rooms, hallways)
- Deliver effective laundry services including washing, drying, ironing, and returning clothes and linen
- Be an active and positive member of the wider home team, supporting a collaborative and inclusive work environment
- Restock supplies and inform management of low inventory
- Report maintenance issues or hazards promptly
- Participate in training relevant to the role (e.g. COSHH, safeguarding, infection control)
- Respect and maintain residents’ privacy and dignity at all times
