As Assistant Manager, you'll work closely with the General Manager to keep the venue running at its best. It's a hands-on role with real responsibility — and a genuine stepping stone to running your own venue.
- Support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the venue
- Lead shifts confidently, keeping the team focused and the service standards high
- Handle guest queries and complaints with confidence and professionalism
- Assist with stock management, ordering, and wastage control
- Support team training, onboarding, and development
- Ensure the venue meets licensing, food safety, and health and safety requirements
- Step up as Duty Manager when required
Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within hospitality, ideally within a food-led environment.
Solid understanding of food safety and licensing compliance.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as part of a rota.
Financial: Up to £32,000 salary, with meals on shift and staff discount.
