Summary:
- Maintaining trusted relationships
- Developing new opportunities
- Managing commercial negotiations in co-ordination with Internal Teams (Industrial sites, Marketing, Supply Chain)
- Managing customer requests, liaising with factories
Duties:
- Manage and develop strategic customer relationships
- Manage and grow the client portfolio, building customer trust and identifying new business opportunities
- Support the definition and achievement of the sales budget for your scope
- Lead contract negotiations in close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Manufacturing teams
- Ensure Internal conditions are met to deliver projects on time
- Collaborate closely with Customer Services teams to optimise client satisfaction
- Handle customer complaints, objective and operational issues proactively
- Report regularly on Sales activities to management and production sites
- Conduct market monitoring and intelligence gathering to share relevant customer and industry insights
- Gain in-depth product and technical expertise through hands-on experience at manufacturing sites
- Develop a strategic, global commercial vision within a world-leading company
Skills required:
- Previous Technical Sales Experience
- Preference given to those from an Engineering background
- Engineering Sales
- UK Sales/European Sales and Account Management experience
- Preference given to those with a 2nd language - Ideally French
- Good educational background, preference given to degree educated or similar
- Strong MS Office skills
- Ability to travel - throughout the UK and some European travel
