Our client is looking for a reliable and motivated Semi-Skilled / Skilled CNC Machinist to join their growing production team.
Working within our machine shop, you will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality precision components. The successful candidate will have experience working with HAAS CNC mills and lathes and a good understanding of machining practices within a manufacturing environment.
- Operate HAAS CNC milling and turning machines safely and efficiently.
- Manufacture components to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Carry out routine machine checks and basic maintenance.
- Inspect components to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Monitor production output and identify any quality or process issues.
- Work closely with colleagues and the team leader to meet production targets.
- Assist with machine set-ups and tooling changes where required.
3 years' experience within a machine shop or CNC manufacturing environment.
- Experience operating HAAS CNC mills and/or lathes.
- Good understanding of machining tolerances and quality requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Knowledge of editing CNC programs.
Experience working in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
Full-time, permanent position.
- 39-hour working week, Monday to Friday (Early finish on a Friday).
