Job Description CNC Machinist - Semi-Skilled / Skilled \n Location: Corby \n Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday \n Hours 8 am - 5 pm (Monday - Thursday), 8 am - 1 pm \n (Friday) \n Salary: (circa £30k + Attendance bonus) \n Our client is looking for a reliable and motivated Semi-Skilled / Skilled CNC Machinist to join their growing production team. \n The Role \n Working within our machine shop, you will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality precision components. The successful candidate will have experience working with HAAS CNC mills and lathes and a good understanding of machining practices within a manufacturing environment. \n Key Responsibilities \n \n Operate HAAS CNC milling and turning machines safely and efficiently. \n Manufacture components to engineering drawings and specifications. \n Carry out routine machine checks and basic maintenance. \n Inspect components to ensure quality standards are maintained. \n Monitor production output and identify any quality or process issues. \n Work closely with colleagues and the team leader to meet production targets. \n Assist with machine set-ups and tooling changes where required. \n \n The ideal candidate will have: \n \n Experience within a machine shop or CNC manufacturing environment. \n Experience operating HAAS CNC mills and/or lathes - desirable \n Good understanding of machining tolerances and quality requirements. \n Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. \n Knowledge of editing CNC programs. \n Experience working in a precision engineering or manufacturing environment. \n \n Benefits: \n \n Full-time, permanent position. \n 39-hour working week, Monday to Friday.
