Responsibilities and Duties:
- Handling and raising purchase orders.
- Negotiating new and existing supplier contracts whilst building solid relationships.
- Liaising with suppliers in the UK, Turkey, USA, China.
- Sourcing manufactured parts and raw materials.
- Process ownership of ERP elements.
- Ownership of Raw, WIP and Finished stocks across subsidiary warehouses and the management of PI counts.
- Work closely with operations to plan weekly manufacturing requirements for both UK and USA subsidiaries.
- Supplier performance management (measuring Quality, Delivery and Costs).
- Manage ongoing KPI objectives.
Required:
- Graduate educated.
- Strong Mathematical skills.
- Excellent spoken and written English skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Purchasing qualifications will be an advantage.
- Strong MS Excel skills (Pivot tables / V Lookups).
- High levels of attention to detail and outstanding organisational skills.
- Ability to establish and develop relationships with internal and external sources.
- Must be computer literate and have great verbal and written communications skills.
- Can do attitude is a must.
