Senior Family Solicitor in London

Rose & Rose is looking to appoint an experienced *Senior Family Solicitor with at least 5 years’ PQE or equivalent experience in private family law* to join our established Kingston team.
This is an opportunity for a confident family lawyer who can independently manage a high-quality private family caseload, build strong client relationships and play an active role in the continued growth of the department.

*The role*
You will manage a varied caseload of private family matters from initial instruction through to conclusion, including:
* Divorce and separation * Financial remedy proceedings * Private children matters and child arrangements * Cohabitation and separation agreements * Pre- and post-nuptial agreements * Domestic abuse matters, including injunctions * International and expatriate divorce and child arrangement matters
You will be trusted to manage your own files independently while having access to partner support when required.
The role combines high-quality technical work with direct client contact and is well suited to a solicitor who enjoys taking ownership of matters and building long-term client relationships.
You will also be encouraged to contribute to the commercial development of the department by maintaining strong relationships with clients and referrers, identifying opportunities for new work and taking ownership of the financial performance of your caseload.
*About you*
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
* At least *5 years’ PQE or equivalent experience specifically in private family law* * Strong experience managing a private family caseload independently * Good experience in financial remedy matters * Experience handling private children matters * The ability to manage files from initial instruction through to conclusion without day-to-day supervision * Strong client-handling skills, particularly in sensitive and complex matters * A commercially aware approach to billing, case management and client service * An interest in developing client and referrer relationships * A proactive and ambitious approach to career progression
Applicants must be qualified to practise in England and Wales, whether as a solicitor, CILEX lawyer or an overseas-qualified lawyer with the relevant permission to practise.

*Salary:* £60,000–£120,000 per year, depending on experience and contribution.
