Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Wills & Probate Lawyer to join us at partner level in our thriving Private Client department. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior practitioner who wants to play a key role in shaping the future of a dynamic, highly regarded firm with a loyal and growing client base across London and beyond.

We are a well-established law firm with a strong reputation for excellence in client care and results. Our Wills & Probate department is one of the firm’s core strengths, supporting a wide range of private clients – from high-net-worth individuals to families with complex estate planning needs.

The Role

As a partner-level lawyer, you will:

  • Lead and develop the Wills & Probate team, mentoring junior lawyers and fee earners.
  • Manage and grow a sophisticated caseload including Wills, LPAs, Probate, and Court of Protection matters.
  • Drive client relationship management and business development, helping to expand the department’s profile across London and the South.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of the firm as part of the senior leadership team.

About You

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Significant experience in Wills & Probate / Private Client law, ideally with at least 2+ years PQE
  • A strong track record in building long-term client relationships, including with HNW clients and complex estates.
  • Commercial awareness and a proven ability to contribute to business development and firm growth.
  • The confidence and leadership skills to oversee and inspire a busy department.
  • Experience with LEAP case management software (desirable, but not essential).
