Day shifts: Monday – Thursday 8:30am–5pm and 8:30am–2pm Fridays

We are currently hiring a technical manager for an electronics business in the Nottingham area, to join their team and to take ownership of engineering projects.

Your day to day would involve:

  • Acting as the bridge between design engineering, manufacturing, and the customer.
  • Taking ownership of technical direction of engineering projects.
  • Overseeing the delivery of electronic products.
  • Leading the full cycle of product development.
  • Managing a team of electronics operatives.
  • Ensuring designs are optimised for manufacturability, cost, and reliability.
  • Contributing to project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Pushing continuous improvement across engineering and production processes.

We are looking for an individual who:

  • Has experience working within an electronics manufacturing environment.
  • Has previous leadership or team management experience.
  • Has a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacture.
