Are you an experienced QA Technician or Quality Inspector looking for your next opportunity? If so, this could be the perfect role for you!
A leading manufacturer are looking to recruit a QA Technician to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis in Lichfield.
Your day-to-day duties will include
- Conducting first-off, in-process and final inspections of components and assemblies.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Carrying out inspections using measurement equipment
- Completing and maintaining inspection reports and quality documentation accurately.
- Assisting with root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
- Supporting internal quality audits and process checks.
- Liaising with production, engineering and management teams to resolve quality issue..
- Assisting with customer and supplier quality matters where required.
- Supporting the implementation and maintenance of quality standards and systems.
We believe you would be a great fit if you have
- Previous experience in a QA Technician, Quality Inspector or similar quality role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience using inspection equipment including verniers, micrometres and other measuring tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good computer skills and experience completing quality documentation.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
