A well-established manufacturing business based in the Nottingham area is looking for a CNC supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations in their laser cutting department. The shifts for this role are 6am – 2pm Monday - Friday.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Supervising day-to-day operations in the laser cutting area
  • Leading a team of laser operators
  • Allocating and monitoring workload across the laser department
  • Setting and operating laser machines
  • Carrying out inspections
  • Working with other departments such as planning, quality, programming and operations to ensure a smooth workflow
  • Training and developing members of the team
  • Carrying out meetings and reviews with members of the team
  • Supporting with recruitment and inductions of new employees
  • Driving continuous improvement to improve efficiency
