A well-established manufacturing business based in the Nottingham area is looking for a CNC supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations in their laser cutting department. The shifts for this role are 6am – 2pm Monday - Friday.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Supervising day-to-day operations in the laser cutting area
- Leading a team of laser operators
- Allocating and monitoring workload across the laser department
- Setting and operating laser machines
- Carrying out inspections
- Working with other departments such as planning, quality, programming and operations to ensure a smooth workflow
- Training and developing members of the team
- Carrying out meetings and reviews with members of the team
- Supporting with recruitment and inductions of new employees
- Driving continuous improvement to improve efficiency
