A manufacturing business in Alfreton are looking to recruit a Line Mechanic to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.
This role is ideal for someone with experience maintaining production machinery and carrying out repairs and changeovers in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Your day-to-day duties will include
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery.
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out mechanical repairs.
- Completing tool changes and machine changeovers.
- Maintaining strip-fed presses and hand-fed stamping machinery.
- Maintaining, repairing, changing over and, when required, operating single-lane and duplex slitters.
- Ensuring machinery is running safely and efficiently to minimise downtime.
We believe you would be a great fit if you have
- Previous experience in a Mechanical Maintenance or Line Mechanic role.
- Experience working on production or manufacturing machinery.
- The ability to carry out fault finding, repairs and preventative maintenance.
- A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
