We are looking for a Manager of Threat Services who must be based in the United Kingdom, and would like to join our fast-paced, rapidly expanding Penetration Testing team at Rootshell Security. The position involves general team management and administrative responsibilities in support of the Vice President of Global Threat Services and the business.
Role responsibilities
- The Manager of Threat Services will assist the VP of Global Threat Services with the day-to-day administrative requirements dictated by the business in the Threat Services Team. This includes but is not limited to:
- Day-to-day allocation and coordination of testing tools and licenses.
- Document quality control – including Tech QA and Release Authorization actions.
- Working directly with and supporting Security Consultants in the business.
- Attending scoping calls and producing the appropriate documentation within the skill set.
- Assisting in the daily administration requirements and supporting testing teams.
- System support, testing infrastructure, and account management.
Skills we are looking for
- The following minimum qualifications, skills, and experience are required for success in this role:
- Having CREST, CyberScheme qualification at Team Member level / equivalent or higher, specializing in Infrastructure or Applications. Or, provable extensive experience working in the IT cybersecurity industry. (This will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the VP of Threat Services and a Rootshell Senior Partner).
- Several years of penetration testing assessment experience, seeking to move into an administrative support or managerial role.
Requirements
- Must reside in the UK.
- Must hold or be eligible to hold UK security clearance.
- Must be able to attend the Basingstoke main office when required.
