As the business continues to expand, they are looking for an experienced Bar Manager in Cambridge to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the bar operation, lead and develop the team, and maintain consistently high standards across service and performance.

THE ROLE – BAR MANAGER Oversee the day-to-day running of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Lead from the front during busy services, maintaining excellent standards of service and guest experience.
Recruit, train, motivate and develop the bar team, creating a positive and high-performing working environment.
Ensure consistency in drinks quality, presentation and service standards.
Manage stock control, ordering, wastage and gross profit to maximise commercial performance.
Monitor labour costs and ensure effective staffing levels in line with business needs.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health and safety, and licensing compliance.
Work closely with the wider management team to deliver a consistent and exceptional guest experience.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, team performance and overall profitability.
THE PACKAGE – BAR MANAGER Salary up to 43k (including tronc) and overtime paid

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR - BAR MANAGER
Previous experience as a Bar Manager, Assistant Bar Manager or in a similar hospitality management role.
Experience working within a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant, bar or casual dining environment.
Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.
Strong commercial awareness, including stock management, cost control and gross profit.
A genuine commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
A hands-on management style and the ability to lead by example.
Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
The ambition and drive to develop alongside a growing hospitality business.
