Rooted Social is a digital marketing agency operating across paid media, website & app development, CRM systems, and organic strategy. We work with clients globally across high-end travel, real estate, e-commerce, finance, and manufacturing - including brands such as Coca-Cola, Tatler Magazine, and leading luxury hotels across Africa. We are one of the fastest-growing agencies in our space, with a young, high-performance team (oldest team member: 28) spread across London, Barcelona, Cape Town, Milan, and Kenya. We’re looking for a Content Strategist & Social Media Manager who understands how to grow accounts, shape messaging, and drive performance through content.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Building and executing social media strategies across client accounts
- Creating and managing content calendars
- Working closely with design and paid teams
- Analysing performance and improving outputs based on data
- Supporting both organic growth and paid alignment
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience growing social media accounts (essential)
- Strong understanding of analytics and performance metrics
- Strategic thinking — not just execution
- Experience in one or more of the following: travel, e-commerce, fashion
- Strong understanding of content, branding, and positioning
- Very well spoken with native-level English
- Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple accounts
