Do you want to work somewhere where you’re not just a number and are valued for your hard work and commitment? If so, come and join the Roota family. Roota Engineering are recruiting for CNC Machinists, Miller’s and Turners on a full-time, permanent basis.
The successful individual will be expected to:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Create, download, edit, archive, read and interpret CNC programs.
- Use CNC milling and/or turning machines.
- Inspection and recording of all relevant dimensions.
- Completion of all documentation and record labour bookings.
- Basic machine maintenance.
The successful candidate will have:
- Good and demonstrable knowledge of appropriate tooling.
- Good and demonstrable knowledge of appropriate cutting & machining conditions.
- Good and demonstrable knowledge of using measuring equipment.
- Engage well with other Team Members.
Basic Hourly Rate: Salary circ. £45k to £55k dependent upon shift pattern and experience.
Hours: 39 hours per week.
Rotational Shifts:
- Days - Mon - Thurs 7.30 - 16.05 and Fri 07.30 - 13.30
- Nights - Mon – Weds 16:00 – 02:20 & Thurs 16:00 – 01:20 (x1.5 premium applies for nights)
There are also opportunities for permanent days or nights.
