Key Responsibilities, Business Development Manager
- Proactively identify, target and win new business opportunities across both public and private sector organisations.
- Working as part of the bid team to build and write proposals for public procurements (majority of public sector business is via tenders).
- Engage with prospective clients through conferences, exhibitions, networking events and business development activities.
- Travel throughout the UK and abroad to meet clients, develop relationships and promote the business through structured software demonstrations.
- Develop a strong understanding of software solutions and confidently present their features and benefits.
- Work alongside the CEO and Commercial Manager to prepare bids, quotations and contractual documentation.
- Consistently build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to achieve and exceed sales targets.
