An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Marketing Manager or Marketing Executive to join a growing, well-established business within the events and exhibitions sector at a pivotal stage in its growth journey. This is a newly created role offering the rare chance to take ownership of marketing delivery, build structure and consistency, and play a key role in driving brand visibility and new business growth.
Working closely with senior leadership and an external marketing consultant, you will be responsible for turning strategy into action, delivering high-quality campaigns, engaging content and measurable results. If you're a hands-on marketer who enjoys variety, creativity and seeing the direct impact of your work, this role offers genuine ownership and visibility within the business.
The Role
You will work closely with an external marketing consultant who provides strategic direction and support, allowing you to focus on delivering high-quality marketing activity. Your role will focus on translating their business objectives and marketing strategy into tactical execution. You will be hands-on in delivering marketing campaigns that showcase their brand, engage their audience and generate new high-profile leads. Digital marketing and content creation form a large part of this role. You will take ownership of marketing delivery across key channels, ensuring activity is consistent, well-executed and aligned to the overall strategy.
You will also be the face of the company at exhibitions and networking events, promoting their services, building relationships and actively identifying opportunities to secure new clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Support development of marketing plan and content calendar, translating their marketing strategy into a day-to-day planner.
- Support development of campaign ideas to help achieve strategic objectives.
- Manage campaigns across marketing channels.
- Coordinate agencies/suppliers where necessary.
- Create high-quality, creative content that showcases their brand.
- Maintain consistent brand tone, messaging and visual identity across all channels.
- Manage content and delivery across all marketing channels: website, social, email etc.
- Set up new marketing channels and processes where needed.
- Represent the company at exhibitions, events and networking opportunities.
- Actively promote services, build relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Capture content and insight from client events to support ongoing marketing activity.
- Track performance and report on outcomes.
About You
Experience
- 3-5+ years in a marketing role.
- Marketing related degree.
- B2B / Events experience desirable.
Skills
- Strong content creation skills (written and visual).
- Experience managing multiple marketing channels (organic and paid).
- Proven success in delivering successful marketing campaigns.
- Good understanding of analytics and campaign performance.
- Basic design skills (video/editing a plus).
- Excellent communication skills.

What They Offer
